- 1 cup Bisquick
- 1/3 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 6 ounces beer
- 2 lbs fish fillets
- oil ( for frying)
- First of all heat the oil to 375 degrees F.
- Mix dry ingredients; add beer to get a sticky consistency for dipping.
- Give a little bit salt fish; dip in batter.
- Deep fry until fish is golden brown.
- Note: a thicker cut of fish would be more suitable for this recipe and like a snapper, walleye and white bass white perch etc.
